July 16, 2026 - Update

As of June 23, 2026, Mayor and Council passed a budget adjustment increase of $901,700 for Phase 4 Construction.

Why did the budget need to increase?

  • To invest in site improvements like:

  • Paving of access Road A: $116,200

  • Installing an irrigation well to meet park demands of non-drinking water: $150,000 to $160,000

  • Increasing costs of construction due to inflation: $741,700

  • Contingencies allowance of 5% of the original construction budget, to cover unforeseen costs or risks of the project: $370,000

Phase 4 Budget as of June 23, 2026: $8,701,700 (Construction + Design)
