Share Quads and ski-doos tend to be much louder than vehicles and we already can't seem to keep up with the excessively noisey vehicles. sanregre asked 2 days agoHello Sanregre,
Thanks for submitting a question! No, we don’t have plans for check stops. However, the muffler requirements stated in the bylaw do give Municipal Enforcement a tool to enforce noise complaints. As always, enforcement responds to complaints as they come in, so submit your complaints online here, or call 403 858 7280 and leave a message.
Sincerely,

sanregre asked 14 days agoHello Sanregre,
These thoughtful questions show you are considering the well-being of our community and the quality of life of our residents. We can’t answer your questions yet, because the survey is intended to capture feedback like this. Once the survey closes, your feedback will be presented to Council for consideration. We’ll also post the survey results report displayed on this web page. For this reason, it’s important to submit the above through the survey in addition to asking here.
I know this probably isn’t as clear an answer as you were hoping for. But remember, the process of creating bylaws allows for Council to request changes and this is an important part of that process.
Sincerely,
Ron Lebsack, Director of Parks & Protective Services -

RyanS asked 14 days agoHi RyanS,
Thanks for taking the time to ask a question. No funding increase has been approved. But your concern is valid, and we will revisit a staffing or bylaw change later if it becomes necessary. Once the survey closes, your feedback will be presented to Council for consideration, so please make sure to include these important questions by completing the survey if you haven't already.

kathy asked 14 days agoHi Kathy,
We agree that permitted times of day are an important component of the new bylaw. That’s why the survey asks for your preferred morning start time, and evening end time.
If you haven’t already, please make sure to complete the survey so your feedback is included!
Sincerely,
Ron Lebsack, Director of Parks & Protective Services
