Stage 2: Pre-construction Set to Begin

Pre-construction of the Northeast Gateway Water Main Project will begin on February 23, 2026. This project is designed to improve water quality in Sylvan Lake.

It will enhance system reliability and how treated water gets to Lakers.

During construction:

  • Water service will remain active

  • Your water remains safe to use

  • Access to residents and businesses will be maintained at all times

  • Traffic will be reduced to one lane while passing active construction sites

  • Detour routes will be implemented at times when full road closures are required
