August 4, 2026 Update

The final lift of asphalt is complete on Herder Drive between Harrison Road and 47 Avenue. The roadway is now open to the public.

During the week of August 3, crews will continue completing a few remaining finishing touches, including:

  • Line painting

  • Landscaping

  • Signage installation

  • Minor asphalt patching at corners

This work marks another milestone in the Town's long-term Herder Drive Rehabilitation project. This project corrects root causes of roadway issues along Herder Drive, such as potholes, road heaves, and higher than normal water levels. The project has been completed in phases to minimize impacts, while delivering lasting improvements to the area.
