Budgets & Timelines

This project was approved in the 2023 budget (engineering only). After completing the design, it was determined additional funding was needed, which was approved by Council in the 2024 and 2025 budgets. The budget was spread over two years to mitigate the impact to residents.

  • Phase 1 | Fall 2025 - Spring 2026
    • Early mechanical work at Beacon Hill, minor tie-ins, initial reservoir preparations, and upgrades to monitoring equipment
    • Approximate Budget: $1,031,977
  • Phase 2 | Summer 2026 - Fall 2026
    • Structural modifications, electrical upgrades, new piping installations, and continued reservoir improvements
    • Approximate budget: $879,445
  • Phase 3 | Winter 2026 - Early 2027
    • Final baffle installations, recirculation upgrades, pump decommissioning, reservoir cell draining and cleaning, and long-term operational switchover.
    • Approximate budget: $1,354,277
