Phase 1 - Work Continued

The South Reservoir Project is continuing January 20.

  • On January 20, 2026, we’ll be taking 1 of the 3 water storge cells offline. This means no new water will enter the cell
  • The existing water will NOT be wasted; it will continue to be available for residents. The cell will not be refilled until work is complete
  • Work is estimated to take 7 days
  • Lakers can support this process by being mindful of water use; conserving water during this time will help to support a positive water supply

During enhancements, you may notice your water has:

  • air bubbles
  • discolouration
  • slight drop in water pressure

This is temporary, and your water remains safe to use.
